Getting started

Quality Comes First

I work directly from photos. Here is what you need to know when selecting a photo:

  • Picture of the pet in desired head position
  • Well lit, need to see highlights and shadows
  • If eye and coat color do not truly represent themselves in the picture, send more that show those details
  • Pastel Pencil Portraits are done on quality acid free pastel paper. Best if Matted and framed once received.
  • Acrylic Paintings are done on your choice of canvas board, great for framing, or stretched canvas ready to hang on the wall

Additional costs:

Shipping is included for Pastel Portraits.

Shipping is Extra for Acrylic Paintings, calculated to size.

Additional pet in portrait:

$20 per pet for pastel portrait, $25 for acrylic painting

For detailed backgrounds, collars or materials (bed, blanket, bandana, etc) add $25
